Employees of Armour & Company and Fort Worth Stock Yards Company crowd around the ballot box at union headquarters to cast their ballots in the nationwide strike vote conducted by the National Labor Relations Board among members of the United Packing House Workers of America, Congress of Industrial Organizations (C. I. O). Left to right, they are E. F. Dvorak, Joe Neustadter, W. E. Dunbar, Miss Margie McBee, Mrs. W. E. Dunbar, and Mrs. Ethel Main. Mrs. Main and Miss McBee are wearing blazers, blouses and skirts. Mr. Dvorak and Mr. Dunbar are wearing shirts and trousers, and Mr. Neustadter is wearing a suit.
