Lavon Peters is a graduate of the University of Kansas who has joined the geological staff of the Gulf Oil Corporation in Fort Worth, Texas. Miss Peters is wearing a blouse and blazer. She is sitting at her desk and marking the readings with a pencil. On her desk there is a microscope, a desk lamp, eyeglasses, notepads, pencils, and an eraser. There is a map of Texas on the wall behind her. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 23, 1945.
