Anniversary services will be held in University Baptist Church Sunday at 11 am honoring Reverend W. Ray Watson, who has served the church for six years as a pastor. Native of Knoxville, Tennessee, he attended Carson- Newman College at Jefferson City, Tennessee. He began working with the church while doing graduate study at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary from which he received his bachelor in theology in 1942. In the picture you can see pastor Watson wearing a suit, collared white shirt, patterned tie, and eyeglasses.
