Description
Cantor Philip Weinberg, faced the Chanuko candelabra and touched the flame to the first of eight yellow wax candles. The celebration of of the Feast of Lights begun Thursday night in synagogues and in Jewish homes. The ancient celebrates the defeat of 2,100 years ago of the Syrians by the Jews under Judas Maccabeus. In the picture you can see Mr. Weinberg lighting the candelabra, that is on the table which covered with a table cloth that has a Star of David in the center. In the back you can the American flag on the left side.
