Four ex-servicemen "talk over the Fort Worth housing problem" at the mass meeting at Hotel Texas. Standing left to right are James A. Carson, former technical sergeant, A. L. Hudson, former sergeant, A. L. McNabb, former first sergeant, and W. E. Warren, former staff sergeant. Mr. Carson and his wife share a 3-room house with his parents-in-law and another couple. Mr. Hudson lives in a single room. Mr. McNabb lives with his wife and baby in two rooms. Mr. Warren lives with his wife and child in a three-room house. The ex-servicemen are four of the more than 1,700 World War II veterans that are in need of adequate housing in Fort Worth, Texas. They are all wearing suits.
