Description
WAC Corp. Lirl Treuter returned Wednesday from 14 months duty with the Far East Air Force and so did Sayrah Haba-Haba Feaf. Haba-Haba is the G.I. term for "hooray" and Feaf means "Far Eastern Air Force" is a cat of dubious but suspected Chinese origin, picked up as a kitten by Corporal Treuter in New Guinea. Wherever the WAC went, so did Sayrah. that included Diak, Pelileu, Leyte, and finally Manila. In the picture you can see Corp. Treuter wearing her Air Corps uniform and she is carrying the black cat, and the cat is wearing vest. There is a fireplace in the background, and some paintings are hanging in the wall.
