Description
Lieutenant John Wieboldt, New York, New York, left, and Major Richard C. Slack and Mrs. R. D. Mahoney. Lt. Wieboldt fought with the 36th Division throughout most of the war. He is visiting Texas with his buddy, Major Slack. The two veterans get a laugh out of the challenge glass held by Major Slack's aunt Mrs. Mahoney. It challenges "I Bet You Can't". Lt. Wieboldt and Major Slack are dressed in their military uniforms. Mrs. Mahoney is wearing a blazer and skirt. They are standing in front of a bookshelf and a closed door. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 30, 1945.
