Headinig the Kiwanis Club District Conference are left to right, Reverend Homer Vanderpool of Dallas, left, Curtis L. Walker, Fort Worth, and Joe L. Porter, Lawton, Oklahoma, seated. Reverend Vanderpool was a speaker at the conference held at Hotel Texas. He is dressed in a dark-colored, double breasted suit. Mr. Walker is president of the downtown club in Fort Worth, Texas. He is wearing a double breasted suit and a nametag. He presented Reverend Vanderpool. Mr. Porter is seated off to the side of the podium. He is the new governor of the Texas-Oklahoma district. He is wearing a three-piece suit and a name tag. Behind the podium is the Kiwanis club Fort Worth Texas banner. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 28, 1945.
