Members of the Fort Worth Chapter American Society of Safety Engineers, R.L. Carson, left, and Early Deterly are shown painting the first "Cross only on green light" sign on a downtown street corner. The workers were joined by workers from the Fort Worth safety program in the first project of the citywide safety campaign. In the picture you can see Mr. Carson and Mr. Deterly kneeling and painting a sign on the floor. All men are wearing suits, hats, and eyeglasses.
