Description

Left to Right, yeoman, Fred Turley, first class and lieutenant William W. Turley. Lietenant Turley was with the 12th Armored Division in Europe and he fought two major battles, the battle of Central Europe and Rhineland. He was also holder of the Bronze star and Purple Heart, he was wounded twice by heavy shell fire. Yeoman Turley sailed with the Navy for the Asiastic Pacific area in July 1944. Turley wears the liberation and Asiatic ribbons with three battle stars. Both men can be seen wearing this uniforms.
