Private John M. Patison, who has been in the Marine Corps, completed his basic training in San Diego. He is spending a leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Patison, 1325 Davis. He formerly played in the Paschal High School and Texas Christian University (T. C. U.) bands and has been assigned to the Marine band in San Diego. He appears to be wearing his Marine uniform.
