Description

Otis McKelvey, young marine veteran of Saipan , Midwaya, Guam, and Pelileu. McKelvey played high school football in Odessa in 1940, 41' and 42' before he joined the Marines. In 1940 he writes from Germany to save a slot for him on the TCU football squad in 1946. In the picture McKelvey can be observed wearing his marine uniform , a leather jacket, and marine hat, he is standing in front of a wall.
