    Description

Dog and rabbit. "Lilac Farm Starlet," toy Manchester terrier owned by Mrs. Lourene Wishert of Bennet, Neb. The rabbit is owned by Hunt's Flemish Rabbitry of Oklahoma City. Clipping photograph caption: Starlet Was A Lady-Much too much of a lady to chase a "wabbit" - or was it because the rabbit out-weighed her by 10 pounds. Starlet, whose real name is Lilac Farm Starlet, is a 1-year-old toy Manchester terrier owned by Mrs. Lourene Wisher of Bennet, Neb. An entry in the dog show here, the little black canine weighs four pounds. The big white bunny with the pink eyes and ears that fearlessly crouched beside Starlet is an entry in the rabbit show. Valued at $35, the rabbit is owned by Hunt's Flemish Rabbitry of Oklahoma City. (Staff Photo.) Photograph of a large, white rabbit and a very small, thin, black dog. The dog is a Manchester terrier. Both animals are standing next to each other on top of a small table.
