Female golfers throughout the country are gathering for the Women's Texas Open Golf Tournament. The tournament is being held at the Colonial Country Club, in Fort Worth, Texas. Competing in the tournament is amateur golfer Dot Kielty, of Los Angeles, California. She defeated Mrs. E. S. Blanton to advance to the next round, where she faces Babe Didrikson Zaharias. Miss Kielty is shown hitting from a sand trap. She is wearing a button-up blouse and a skirt.
