Description

Female golfers throughout the country are gathering for the Women's Texas Open Golf Tournament. The tournament is being held at the Colonial Country Club, in Fort Worth, Texas. Preparing for the tournament, left to right, are Mrs. Willis Thompson and Mrs. Frank Wolfin. The women are standing on the practice green as they work on their putting stroke. Mrs. Thompson is dressed in a short-sleeve blouse and a skirt. Mrs. Wolfin is a 69-year-old golfer from Amarillo, Texas. She has been the city champion of Amarillo twice, and played in seven Texas Opens. She is wearing a button-up dress.
