Description

Female golfers throughout the country are gathering for the upcoming Women's Texas Open Golf Tournament. The tournament will be held at the Colonial Country Club, in Fort Worth, Texas. Preparing for the tournament is Babe Didrikson Zaharias. She is an amateur golfer and an Olympic athlete. In 1932 she won two gold medals in Track and Field. Mrs. Zaharias won the Texas Open in 1940 and again in 1941. She is one of the favorites to win the tournament this year. Mrs. Zaharias is shown cooking in the kitchen. She is wearing a button-up blouse and a skirt.
