Description

The marriage ceremony performed for Mr. and Mrs. John Morrison McEwen 50 years ago was repeated Thursday night. Participating in the golden wedding ceremony, left to right, are B. D. Hill, Mrs. McEwen, Reverend A. G. Hulme, Mr. McEwen, and Mrs. Hill, the bride's sister. Reverend Hulme read the vows. Mr. and Mrs. Hill, who have also been married 50 years, stood up for the couple as they did in 1893. Mr. Hill is dressed in a three-piece suit. Mrs. McEwen is wearing a lacy wedding dress with a corsage. Mr. McEwen is dressed in a three-piece suit with a bow tie. Mrs. Hill is wearing a dress and carrying a bouquet.
