Description
Sergeant Marshall H. Green has been missing in Germany since October 8, 1944. After almost a year of waiting, the Stephenville, Texas, native has been listed as dead. He enlisted in the Army in 1942 and was sent to Europe in 1943. Sergeant Green was a member of the 23rd Engineer Battalion, of the 1st Army. He was with a patrol, gathering lumber, when they met enemy resistance. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Maxine Little Green and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Green. Sergeant Green is shown in his official military photograph.
