    Description

    A temporary office for the Marine Corps Recruiting Station is open at the Tarrant County Courthouse in Fort Worth, Texas. Pictured left to right are Captain Robert E. Rain Junior, Staff Sergeant William Harry Harrison, and applicant D. A. Simmons. Captain Rain, of Dallas, Texas, is the officer in charge of the recruiting office. He is dressed in a military uniform. Sergeant Harrison, of Fort Worth, Texas, is also wearing a uniform. The recruiters are shown interviewing Mr. Simmons, their first applicant. Mr. Simmons is 17 years old. He is wearing a button-up shirt with cuffed sleeves.
