    Description

The Tarrant County rural school bus drivers are being praised for their unblemished record. Their drivers have recorded no serious accidents during the last ten years. A one-day institute and bus checkup is being held on the grounds of Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Pictured at the checkpoint, left to right, are Texas State Highway Patrolman E. W. Taylor and veteran bus driver Tom Hudgins. Patrolman Taylor is asking questions on the operation of the bus. He is dressed in a uniform. Mr. Hudgins, of Keller, Texas, is wearing a button-up shirt, trousers, and suspenders. The county's 30 drivers carry more than 2,000 pupils to and from school each day.
