Description

The Corsicana Victory Fair and Rodeo is opening the annual five-day event with a parade through the streets of Corsicana, Texas. A group of Fort Worth, Texas, delegates are riding through the streets on a bright red truck. Hanging off the side of the truck is a "you're always invited - always welcome" sign, advertising the 50th Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show in Fort Worth. Standing in front of the truck, left to right, are Navarro County Judge Lonnie Powell, Will Thompson, W. A. King, J. Kenneth McCrimmon, and Thomas L. Yates. Judge Powell is wearing a hat and a double breasted pinstripe suit. Mr. Thompson, president of the Corsicana Chamber of Commerce, is wearing a hat and suit. Mr. King is the Fort Worth Chamber of Agriculture chairman. He is dressed in a hat and a double breasted pinstripe suit. Mr. McCrimmon, livestock superintendent, is wearing a hat and a suit. Mr. Yates, advertising counsel, is wearing a hat and a double breasted striped suit.
