Description

Sagamore Hill Garden Club's first summer flower show as a federated garden club drew hundreds of entries and attracted flower lovers from all sections of Fort Worth, Texas, to the Meadowbrook Country Club field house. Judges of the show were, left to right, Mrs. A. B. Pumphrey and Mrs. T. H. Thomason, members of the Fort Worth Garden Club, and Mrs. Glynn LePhiew, president of the South Side Garden Club. They are examining flower arrangements on a table. Mrs. Pumphrey is wearing a blouse with lace detailing along the neckline and sleeves, a skirt and a hat. Mrs. Thomason is wearing a solid-colored dress belted at the waist with a seahorse brooch pinned to the collar, and a sunhat. She is holding a handbag and gloves in her left hand. Mrs. LePhiew is wearing a dress and a hat. She has a bracelet on her left wrist and is holding a handbag in her left hand.
