Guy L. Stillwell was discharged from the Coast Guards on March 6, 1945. He is one of the many returning servicemen enrolling in classes at the Technical Institute. He is shown filling out an application for the auto mechanics course, one of the many open to veterans and civilians alike. Mr. Stillwell is dressed in a button-up shirt. His hat is sitting on the edge of the table. Other students are in the background.
