The family is shown sitting on a couch together and reading dispatches from Charles K. Boatner, Star-Telegram correspondent in the Pacific. The dispatches tell about Captain Hanna's liberation. Mr. Hanna, the captain's father, is wearing a dark suit with a pair of eyeglasses; both Mrs. Milton and Patricia are wearing gingham-printed dresses; and Mrs. Hanna is wearing a floral dress. Each of them are holding the correspondent's dispatches and are smiling while they look on.
