(Left to right) Barbara Beaton, Jo Ann Crowder, Thelma McIntosh, Mary Frances Malone and Nell Jernigin. These five girls, who have been school mates since kindergarten, are to attend Christian College in Colombia, Missouri. Missese Beaton, Crowder, Malone and Jernigin are shown seated while Miss McIntosh stands at the middle. Each of them are wearing different dresses, some including lace detailing and small bows around the waist. Behind them is a building with shrubs and bushes surrounding it.
