Some of the speakers and attendees at the appreciation dinner held at Hotel Texas in honor of Henry Love, manager of the hotel. Seated at a dining table are, beginning second from left, Doctor E. M. Waits, president of Texas Christian University, Reverend W. F. O'Brien, Texarkana, Texas, the principal speaker, and Mrs. Henry Love. Sitting at the far left is an unidentified woman. An unidentified man is sitting at the far right. Behind them are several flags lined up against the wall. Doctor Waits is wearing a suit with a bowtie, and eyeglasses. Reverent O'Brien is wearing his clergy clothing. Mrs. Love is wearing a dress with ruffle detailing across the bodice and sleeves.
