Description
The Amon Carter Riverside High School football team is preparing for the upcoming 1946 season. Candidates to make the football team are receiving conditioning tips from Coach Ed Lowe. Pictured on the front row, left to right, are Jimmy Shelton, Arthur Murrell, Bill McPherson, Allen Mabra, Ed Whitten, Don Hunt, and Charley Sides. On the back row are Sam Adams, Bill Parkman, Keith Hargroves, Bob Bates, Frank Russell, Charles Bogart, Aaron Nichols, and Bob Page. They are all dressed in their football uniforms. The Yellow Jackets will open their season September 20 at Goose Creek.
