Description
Mrs. Lena Pope is one of the founding members of the Lena Pope Home. She is shown wearing an orchid pinned to her checkered dress, designating her as the chosen "Good, Good Neighbor." The honor is given each day by Tom Breneman to a person in the United States, over his radio show, "Breakfast in Hollywood." Mrs. Pope was nominated by Mrs. Wilmott A. Marshall, of Amarillo, Texas. In addition to the orchid, Mrs. Pope is also wearing a hat and eyeglasses.
