Description

A Cleanup Campaign is sweeping through Arlington, Texas. The citywide trash collection will be held Thursday and Friday. Applying final touches to a map, left to right, are Doctor W. B. Nies, Mayor Wylie F. Altman, Doctor J. D. Collins, and Julian B. Blackwell. Dr. Nies is the Tarrant County health director. He is wearing a dress shirt, necktie, and trousers. Mayor Altman is the mayor of Arlington. He is wearing a striped shirt and a necktie. Dr. Collins is an Arlington health director. He is wearing a dress shirt and a necktie. Mr. Blackwell is president of the Arlington Lions Club, the organization sponsoring the drive. He is dressed in a short-sleeve shirt.
