Lieutenant General and Mrs. William Hood Simpson are arriving at Fort Worth Municipal Airport. General Simpson is the commander of the 9th Army. He is returning home from a special mission in China, to start his long-delayed leave in Texas. The couple will visit "home folks" in Parker County, Texas, and San Antonio, Texas. They are shown disembarking the airplane. General Simpson is dressed in his military uniform. Mrs. Simpson is wearing a hat, dark dress, and gloves and is carrying a handbag.
