    Description

A special grand jury has been seated at the Van Zandt County Courthouse in Canton, Texas, to probe into the mysterious murder case of Mrs. Martha A. Corbin. The wealthy widow died three weeks earlier at her estate on the Tyler-Dallas Highway near Edom, Texas. A maid, Della Griffin, confessed her part in the slaying and Si Ellis is being charged as an accomplice. John Ingram, 75, is shown riding in the backseat of an automobile. He is an associate of the accused murderer, Mr. Ellis. Mr. Ingram went on the $12,500 bond for Ellis and later withdrew as surety. Mr. Ingram is dressed in a button-up shirt, jeans, and suspenders.
