Description
The machine Major Eric Haquinius, chief of surveys, operates is the Multiplex, a new and mighty aid to the survey engineer. Texas got the first one to arrive in this country from Germany. Major Haquinius is seated by a table with both hands on an apparatus. Directly above the table are four cylinders attached to a bar. The maps created by the machine show every bump and pimple, gash and growth on the face of the earth around Possum Kingdom dam. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, June 27, 1940.
