New officers of Lambda Alpha Lambda Sorority, who were photographed at the home of Miss Virginia Carson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Carson. Standing on the back row, left to right, are Misses Polly Riley, treasurer, Rosemary Schabarum, corresponding secretary, Mary Jo Turner, historian, Ruth Fletcher, pledge mistress for Arlington Heights School, Joy Lee Chandler, sergeant-at-arms, and Virginia Carson, pledge-mistress for Paschal High School. Seated on the couch, left to right, are Misses Jane Riley, recording secretary, Margaret Fox, vice president, Betty Schutts, president, and Gloria Womack, reporter. The officers are all wearing dresses of varying designs and prints. They all have floral corsages pinned to their dresses. Hanging on the back wall is a framed landscape painting.
