T. M. Fly, 65, retired voluntarily after 38 years with the Texas and Pacific (T&P) Railroad. Fly's mother, Mrs. Tennie Combs, 90, lives with him and his wife, and has done so for 22 years. Fly's last job with the T&P was that of control operator in the freight yard. He is sitting on a couch, wearing a button-up shirt, trousers and eyeglasses.
