    Description

Cleaning up Fort Worth city for the return of it's service men is no longer in the category of a postwar plan but an immediate necessity, concluding with trash pickup next Sunday. Zone two, west of North Main, Main and Hemphill streets is to be covered then. Section leaders will serve in the 20 areas the west side has been divided. They will work with truck dispatchers in directing trucks and workers. Pat Casey, co chairman of volunteer works announced section leaders, three of them seen in this photograph, left to right, Ted Klein, Dick Knight and Morris King, standing next to each other. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, August 16, 1945.
