Description
With Tarrant County's polio outbreak increased to epidemic proportions, two trained technicians from the Elizabeth Kenny Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota were at City-County Hospital to assist in treatment of patients. They are Left to right, Miss Marie Reichert of New York City, who has been at the institute one and one-half years and Miss Dorothy Lovaas, who has been at the institute since it's opening four years ago. They are standing next to each other and posing for a picture. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, August 8, 1945.
