Lieutenant William J. Compton Junior is a recent graduate of the Enid Army Airfield in Oklahoma. The Paschal High School graduate is home in Fort Worth, Texas, on leave. He is spending the time with his wife, the former Miss Mary Stevana Hargett, and their daughter, Donna Sue. Lieutenant Compton, a 25-year-old pilot, will next report to Blackland Army Airfield in Waco, Texas, for B-25 training. He is shown standing against a wall, dressed in his military uniform.
