Description
Two-year-old Janet Thwaite doesn't know just how important she is to her parents, Captain and Mrs. Walter G. Thwaite. When Captain Thwaite, an Army doctor, figured up his points in the Philippines, he found that Janet gave him one over the 85 required for discharge. Returned home on the strength of his 86 points, Captain Thwaite awaits decision from Washington on his discharge. The family sits on a ledge outdoor with Janet in the middle. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 4, 1945.
