Description

Meredith N. Wallace of Benbrook, retired after 34 years of delivering mail for the citizenry of Benbrook and Fort Worth, asserted that his favorite pastime now is just sitting in front of a fan. But, he added, there's still plenty to keep him busy at home, tending to his garden, cows and chickens. Wallace is bent over picking tomatoes and holding a bucket in the other hand. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, August 14, 1945.
