Mrs. Marifrances Lane, is home on a 30-day leave from foreign service with the Red Cross before being sent to another war zone. Mrs. Lane is pictured here. A young woman standing against a bare wall, facing slightly right. She is wearing uniform. Mrs. Lane, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Bibb, began her service in England in March. For a year previous to her appointment in England, she was a volunteer worker putting in about 200 hours a month with the Red Cross Motor Corps. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 6, 1945.
