Description
His seeing-eye dog poisoned last April, W. H. Batis prepares to board a train at the T&P station to take him to the Seeing-Eye Institute at Morristown, New Jersey, to secure a new dog. His wife, also blind, and 2-month-old daughter, have come to the station to say good-bye. Expenses of his trip will be made by contributions from the people of Fort Worth. The couple are posed next to each other. Mr. Batis is on the left holding his luggage. Mrs. Battis is on the right, holding the couple's infant daughter.
