    Description

    Front view of the two-unit 4,000-horse-power Diesel engine given a test run on the Sunshine Special by the Texas & Pacific Railway Company between Fort Worth and El Paso. The is a big Baldwin Locomotive Works (BLW) logo on the engine. A few men are gathered around the left side of the train. There is a prominent silo structure seen behind the train. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, August 1, 1945.
