Lieutenant (jg) Claude Claremore Nathan Junior, Avenger torpedo bomber pilot, who served 14 months on a carrier in the Pacific, has been awarded the Navy Cross for extraordinary heroism in action. A native of Paris, Texas, Nathan is the son of Mrs. Nina B. Cambell, who has lived here for 16 years. Nathan is shown wearing his military uniform.
