Description

One of a squad of firemen who quickly donned masks to enter the smoke-filled Worth Theater to combat a small fire in the basement of the building. Several firemen were overcome and had to be assisted outside but soon recovered and were back on the job. Photograph of a fire fighter wearing his uniform and a mask.
