Three of the seven polio patients dismissed from the City-County Hospital and sent to their homes for further treatment are (left to right) Bobby Joe Leslie, son of Mrs. Dorothy Ward; Farrell Petty, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. F. Petty and Rita Joyce Richardson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Richardson. The children are smiling and two of them are sitting on the examination table. At extreme left is Miss Irene Mae Lang, Physiotherapist, and at extreme right is Mrs. Anna Mae Welch, Physiotherapist. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 29, 1945.
