Eagerly awaiting the return of Sergeant J. T. Gilbert, member of the 1st Infantry Division of the 3rd Army now at Epsheim, Germany, are his wife Mrs. J. T. Gilbert and brand-new daughter, Hertha Helen Gilbert, 4-weeks-old, who is especially anxious to get a look at the father she has never seen. Mrs. Gilbert is sitting on a chair and has the baby on her lap. There is a portrait of the couple on a small table next to the chair. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 30, 1945.
