Description
When the first block meeting of Fort Worth residents was held Monday night to form neighborhood cleanup units. Meeting in the backyard of W. A. Blessing, 2621 NW 26th, the group agreed to combine efforts to clean up their alley as first project. Left to right, crouching and seated, J. L. Newsom, city fireman; L. D. Blessing, purchasing agent for Jahns Supply Company. Standing, left to right, A. A. Bellah, loftsman at Convair, holding his grand daughter, Sandra Lynn Vaughan; H. E. Ferrell, Humble Oil Company salesman, and E. M. Fridge, Fort Worth Transit Company bus operator. The neighbors are gathered around the swing set with some gardening and cleaning tools.
