Cesare Sodero, conductor of the Metropolitan Opera Association, is spending the summer at the home of Mrs. Sodero's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Whiddon, on their farm near Mount Calm. Sodero is shown sitting on the front porch of the Whiddon home, holding a book. He is wearing eyeglasses, a short-sleeve collared shirt, necktie and trousers.
