    Description

    Cesare Sodero, conductor of the Metropolitan Opera Association, is spending the summer at the home of Mrs. Sodero's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Whiddon, on their farm near Mount Calm. Sitting on a bench on the front porch of the Whiddon home are, left to right, Mrs. Whiddon, Mr. Sodero, Mrs. Sodero and Mr. Whiddon. Mr. and Mrs. Sodero are holding puppies- Gilda and Sparafucile. Mrs. Whiddon and Mrs. Sodero are wearing dresses. Mr. Sodero is wearing a short-sleeve collared shirt, trousers and suspenders. Mr. Whiddon is wearing a long-sleeve pinstripe shirt, necktie and trousers.
