Description
Captain Barton K. Yount Junior, right, who took his training as a B-29 pilot under his father's command, was in Fort Worth, Texas, on sick leave after nine months in the East. He talked over technical details with Lieutenant General Barton K. Yount Senior, commanding general of the United States Army Air Forces (AAF) Training Command, at headquarters. Both father and son are sitting at a desk, wearing their military uniforms. On the desk are a stack of documents, a rubber stamp, a magnifying glass, and a pair of eyeglasses. There are three flags, including an American flag, propped up against the back wall.
